WildCoins are a payment system you can use to play WildGames. They work like quarters in an arcade; games cost 1-6 WildCoins per session, and a session is the length of time between opening and closing the game. (Even if you lose, you can continue playing with that unit of coins). WildCoins are a great way to play our new games every week without buying them all. Plus, if you decide you really like the game you're playing with coins, you get a discount when you purchase the game for unlimited play!

To purchase WildCoins you must be of legal age to buy products through the internet, have a credit or debit card, and provide your name, billing address and a valid email address. Click on the "My Account" link at the top of the page or the WildCoins button to view and buy WildCoins. Alternately, you can open the Game Console and click on "My WildCoins" for the same options. (We recommend the Game Console, for ease of use.) If you're buying coins for your children, we recommend you do NOT select the option to save your card information (kids can be crafty).
We have several plans currently available, and we now offer "one-time" pack purchases as well. See details below.

Every month, on the anniversary of your enrollment (for example, the 15th of the month, if you signed up on the 15th of the month), your account is charged and the WildCoins deposited. If you run out of WildCoins early, you can buy supplemental WildCoin packs until your next deposit date. You can always review or change your plan by clicking "My WildCoins" in the Game Console, or "My Account" on the WildGames homepage. If you choose to cancel your contract plan or change to a plan with a shorter commitment before the end of the commitment has been reached, you will need to pay off the remaining commitment. Once you have made this payment, the WildCoins associated with your remaining commitment will be deposited into your account.
Most of our games come packaged with two free sessions. Once those are used, you may play additional game sessions using your WildCoins. You must have an account with us to use WildCoins (accounts are free). To access your coins, you must be logged into your account through our Game Console or through the game itself. (Otherwise, we have no way of connecting your coins to you and your computer.) However, you do NOT have to be online in order to spend coins. (See the section below about playing offline.) So, if you're travelling or without internet access, you don't have to stop playing your favorite games.
To use WildCoins, open the game you'd like to play, click the "Play" button, and WildCoins will automatically be deducted from your account. The cost of each game is denoted by "x (number)" beneath the picture of the coin. If you forget to log into your account, the system will prompt you to do so.
When you insert WildCoins, your game will last until one of the following occurs:
- You exit or quit the game.
- You stop playing for more than 20 consecutive minutes.
- You play the game non-stop for 24 hours.
That means you can play for several hours if you play continuously, but if you stop playing for an hour, you can insert more WildCoins to play again. Game sessions do not end if you lose.
If you are using a Free Session, you have to play the game for at least 3 minutes in order to use up one of the two free sessions that each game comes with. If you play the free session for less than 3 minutes, you can use it another time.
No! You can choose to deposit WildCoins into a mini-account on your computer for offline use. This process, referred to as “checking out” WildCoins, allows you to use your WildCoins at any time, regardless of internet connectivity.
Here’s how it works:
While online, sign into your WildGames account via the Game Console and click on "My Account." You can choose how many WildCoins you want to deposit to your computer, keeping in mind the following details:
- Once WildCoins are "checked out," they cannot be returned to your online supply. The transfer is one-way only, and cannot be reversed.
- Once WildCoins are "checked out", they can only be used from that specific computer. You cannot transfer your offline WildCoins between computers.
- WildCoins are treated like cash; if your computer crashes or you restore your operating system, you lose all offline WildCoins. We cannot issue refunds for lost WildCoins, or return them to your account. Once the coins are on your computer, we have no way to track how many you have used. Therefore, we highly recommend you do not check out more than 40 coins at one time.
- When you are online, the system defaults to using WildCoins from your online account. You cannot use offline WildCoins unless you run out of online coins, at which point, the system will ask you how you wish to proceed. You have the choice to buy additional coins, or use coins from your offline supply. Refill plan users - remember that if you check out all of your online coins, the system automatically refills your account and charges you.
- There is no way to combine offline coins with online coins to play a game. For example, if a game requires four coins to play, and you have two offline on your computer, and two remaining in your online account, you cannot combine coins to play. You can, however, withdraw the two online coins to your offline account (giving you four offline coins).
Yes! When you spend WildCoins to play a game, your account keeps track of how many you've used on that game. If you then purchase the game for unlimited play, every coin you've spent is deducted from your final cost (down to a minimum game cost of $5.00). Each WildCoin earns you a $0.25 purchase credit towards owning the full game, so it's easy to rack up savings. To redeem, add that game to your shopping cart while logged into your WildCoins account, click the "buy" button and continue the checkout process. Your WildCoins purchase credit will be displayed during the last stage of checkout. If you have spent enough coins that the game would cost less than $5.00, you will see the $5.00 minimum game purchase cost listed.
Please note:
We cannot track spending of Offline WildCoins in order to apply them to game discounts. Therefore, offline coins do NOT count toward the purchase price of the game. Please keep this in mind if you decide to take coins offline!
Discounts from spending WildCoins cannot be combined with other offers (existing sales, bundles, etc).
Yes, you can change or cancel your plan at any time by logging into your account and clicking on "My Account." under the WildCoins section of your account, if you already have a plan, you will be able to cancel it or change to a different plan. If you choose to cancel your contract plan before the end of the commitment has been reached, you will need to pay off the remaining commitment. Once you have made this payment, the WildCoins associated with your remaining commitment will be deposited into your account.
No. Unlike other game services that charge a monthly access fee, WildCoins accumulate in your account and "roll over" from month to month. You may also cancel or change your WildCoins plan at any time without any cancellation fees. For further details, please see the WildCoins Terms & Conditions linked toward the top of this page under "What are WildCoins."
We offer hundreds of different games from match-3 puzzles to RPG's. Some games are of extremely high quality and of great cost to develop, and therefore we are required to offer them at a slightly higher price. Regardless of the number of WildCoins, rest assured that we are always focused on bringing you the best games possible at the lowest possible price. Occasionally, we will re-evaluate game costs and raise or lower the cost of certain games (based on input from the game developer). When we do so, the updated cost is immediately visible to you on the coin insert page.
Becoming a member of WildClub gives you even more ways to use your WildCoins. You will be able to purchase and use WildCoins as you always have, but you will also gain the ability to purchase a game using WildCoins. To become a member of WildClub, you only need to be enrolled in an active monthly WildCoins plan. Once you complete your enrollment you will receive an email confirmation welcoming you to the club.
As a member you can use your WildCoins to play any of the games we offer and if you decide you want to buy a game, you can use the WildCoins in your account to complete the purchase. As an added bonus, every WildCoin you have used to play the game will be deducted from the final number needed to purchase the game. If you don't have enough WildCoins in your account when you add a game to your shopping cart we will automatically add enough 50 packs of WildCoins to complete the purchase. You will be charged for the extra WildCoins and any WildCoins not needed to purchase the game will be added to your WildCoins account.
All of the games available on the WildGames website accept WildCoins, except for games we host for free, anyway. If you look at a particular game on our website and do not see a "Buy" option, the game is free to you and will not accept WildCoins. Otherwise, if you have a game that should take coins but doesn't appear to have that option, your version of the game may be pre-WildCoins.
To update the games you already have downloaded onto your computer, you should do one of two things:
To reinstall using your Game Console:
- Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.
- Find the game that you want to update.
- Choose Change/Remove.
- When asked if you'd like to Uninstall, click "yes" or "ok".
- Go back to your Game Console, find the game and download to reinstall.
To reinstall from the WildGames website:
- Go to the Find Games page.
- Find your game and click on "Play" to download and reinstall your game, there is no need to uninstall.
- For purchased games, you will be asked to unlock your game again, so please have your unlock code ready.
The most common cause of this problem is a firewall (occasionally a proxy server or similar internet security program) that stops your computer from sending or receiving data to our servers. These programs protect your computer by limiting what programs can use your internet connection, and what connections from the internet you can accept. Unfortunately, they can't always tell the difference between a harmful program and a harmless game.
To fix this problem, you need to configure your firewall to allow WildGames access to the internet. There are many different types of firewalls, so you should always consult the documentation that came with your Internet security software. If your firewall software needs you to open certain ports, you'll want to open ports 80 and 443.
If that doesn't fix the problem, please click on the Email Support link at the top right-hand side of this page to send an email to our Support team.
This sort of problem can occur when your computer has a popup blocker that prevents the game from launching correctly. To fix this, be sure to disable your popup blocker, configure it to not disable your WildGames games, or alternatively change to a popup blocker that doesn't prevent your game from launching correctly. Once you do that, your game should work fine.
This kind of problem is almost always caused by old or outdated video drivers, the software that controls your video card. You'll need to install the latest drivers available for your video card, which are provided by your video card manufacturer. For example, if you have an ATI video card, you need to get the ATI video drivers from ATI's website. If you don't know what video card you have, or need help, first contact your system manufacturer (the company that made your computer). They can help you install the latest version of your video card drivers and DirectX, straight from Microsoft's DirectX website.
Even if your comptuer is new, or you think you have updated recently, always be sure to reinstall your drivers. It's one of the first things we'll have you do if you contact us.
